CVN, Senior Veterinary Nurse
Alisha is a passionate veterinary nurse with a career that began during her final years of high school on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland. She made the move to Sydney in 2017 to be with her partner, whom she met through playing Grand Theft Auto. Soon after, she joined the busiest veterinary clinic in South Sydney, where her keen interest in surgery and anaesthesia grew.
After nearly five years at the same clinic, Alisha relocated to Darwin, where she had the opportunity to broaden her skills by working on a wide range of complex and unique cases. During this time, she also gained invaluable experience working with the region’s unique wildlife and contributed to desexing programs in Aboriginal communities.
After a year in Darwin, Alisha decided the intense climate wasn’t the right fit and returned to Sydney, where she joined The Barracks Vet Surgery. When she’s not helping animals, Alisha enjoys time with her dog, Minxy, playing video games and studying.
