Joanna was born in New Zealand but has lived in Sydney all her life. After a fulfilling career in graphic design working primarily in TV and book publishing she decided to follow her heart and work with animals. After completing her Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing at Sydney TAFE she worked for several years in both emergency and general practice and is now delighted to be welcomed into The Barracks Vet family.
Joanna loves animals and is especially fond of the oldies. She considers it a privilege to be part of the process of keeping our animals healthy and happy.
Joanna lives locally with her partner and two daughters. She adores her beautiful Kelpie Sundae, Spooky the cat and two ratties Diablo and Milky Joe.
